Hi!
I realize that your post has been up for quite some time but I am interested to hear if you have gotten a group together to play Cashflow. I am on the Sunshine Coast and am interested in meeting like minded people and playing the game - haven't done so as yet.

I bought my copy of Cashflow 101 board game about 4 years ago through eBay. Can't remember exactly how much but it was cheaper than the retail price.

Hi everyone, I've bought the game and yes, I did and still do think it's an expensive game, especially when compared to Monopoly. However, if what you want is a mind changing and life changing experience, then fork out the money and buy it, as it's well worth the money. Primarily as it'll change your whole outlook on being a worker for the rest of you life (as in paying heaps to much in taxes, so that it's really hard to get ahead).
The annoyance and frustration, that comes with going around and around in circles as a worker in the game, (such as in real life) and the speed and amount of free choices that are available to those who're on the Fastrack (as in Business owners and Investors) is truly amazing and becomes really apparent as you play the game.
I bought it after thinking long and hard about paying so much for it. The hardest thing I've found is finding like minded people to play it with! I live on the Gold Coast, so if anyone around here wants to play it with me, then give me a call on 0416 809 178 or email me at: kortlee1967@yahoo.com.au
The more like minded people I can meet the better my strategic decision making processes will become as I'm taking the big step from being a worker to buying a business in the real world.
End result, buy it if you really want to change your life, if you're stingy like I was, play it first with someone who's already bought it (and then decide if you want to buy it), if you're to scared to change your life, then just stay a worker all your life and pay the most in taxes as that's the real lesson that Robert Kyosaki teaches about Industrialised Western Democracies. Charge? why would we charge to play a game?
Reason for the post, was to offer those who have read Kiyosaki's books and know about the game, but who havn't played or maybe has played a few times and want to have another game.
The more players that play, the more fun and educational it is! :) |
