If the bank says no, then try a building society. Both do unsecured loans. If they both say no, it is because they can see something you cannot regarding your ability to repay. Beware of other lenders such Cash Converters, who will charge you massive interest rates, and there are also companies who require an upfront payment to get you the loan (some of these are genuine, most are not). Whatever you do decide, read the fine print.
