Earning heaps but bad credit history Reply to this message
Hi. My husband and I are both in good jobs, and earn around $170K per year between us. We want to buy a home, but my husband's bad credit history and our credit card debt is getting in the way. We had a major financial set back 3 years ago, and are still paying back the money it cost us. We can afford repayments of around $2100 per month (able to increase to $3000 per month when our youngest is out of childcare in 18 months), and want to buy a home worth around $450K in a city with high capital growth (where we're currently renting). We're trying to turn our situation around, and we have been absolutely fantastic tenants - never missed a rental payment, etc. We are low risk, despite my husband's credit history, and are honest and committed people. Is there anyone out there who will lend us the money to get started??
