"Cheapest way for kiwi money on holiday "
No commission perhaps but be careful of what exchange rate they offer. |

| Cheapest way for kiwi money on holiday is to take out aussie cash at home and go into the local casino in new zealand if you can. Casinos in new zealand will change into local currency for free. There's nothing stopping you changing the money and walking out the door again. |

Let me first ask do you currently have a brokerage account? If so what you need to do is transfer the funds into that account and the house should make the transfer and currency adjustments automatic at a relatively lower rate. Also do you have a credit card account with your broker if so you can make the transfer in NZ before you depart and again the savings should be substantial.
First, I would get hold of my broker and explain what your situation and he/she should better explain the benefits.

| Can anyone advise the best way to access NZ dollars while on holiday from Oz. I thought the best way was with a debit card used at ATM's in NZ. But when I got back to Oz I found that the bank had charged a fee every time. Had to pay $190 in fees. So any ideas on a better and cheaper way? |
