| My experience with OZforex is not that good. I transfer an amount to US then being cut an additional fees (on top of the wiring fees). When queried they keep saying intermediary cost when asked which intermediary they keep repeating the word just accept it. They mentioned that they use Westpac to transfer money. Curiously after that I use Westpac to wire my money and surprise surprise no intermediary charge. |

I used them to transfer a large amount from the UK to Oz and had no trouble at all. Although there are others out there with better rates
HI... I JUST SAW YOUR POST ON THE INTERNET AND WONDER WHOM YOU MIGHT SUGGEST FOR "BETTER RATES." I HAVE A FOREX ACCOUNT, BUT WONDER IF I MIGHT FIND BETTER RATES ELSEWHERE FOR LARGE TRANSFERS (SIX FIGURES). VERY BEST WISHES AND HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU. |

To the "thevanreingolds" - I notice now that you posted Question some time ago - hope you held off for a while coz $Oz worth more now - roll on the commodity boom !
Hope you didn't go down the Big Bank monopoly Road, even though I found Ozforex's quotes for a small amount were not much better anyway.....? |

| Hi, haven't used them but did look closely - I'd say they're competitive for smaller amounts, but we get better rates for both small or large amounts via an FX/futures broker. However it would be a more lengthy process opening a (trading) account with one as they'll want more details regarding your credit worthiness for margin trading purposes, and you'd be best to advise them that you are interested in doing so, but that you also would like to use them for (physical) "delivery" purposes. |

Hi,
It really depends on size of corporate customer or personal transfer. We have people paying various spreads depending on requirements. It is something that can always be negotiated and happy to be contacted if you looking for more information. |

| HIFX are worth a look. I used them to bring pounds from a house sale back to Oz. They deal only in forex so they need to be competitive and they take no commission. Good luck |

| Hi. yes have used them for the last 2 years while in Singapore. They charge $20 + 75bp over the spot rate (AUD/SGD) and you can lock the rate you want to trade at... I have not had any problems and they are quite helpful... larger amounts may attract much larger commissions. |

| I have not used them myself but have heard from someone who transferred their funds in from UK and they did not have any problems. Do your own research. |
