My post was long before that but it still stands as I like this one since I first bought it and even though I sold some to buy another which is doing even better, (not Copper Strike) I still own it and will probably continue to do so till this correction seem like ending.
Why do you think anyone has to pick something on a daily basis?
The game is to choose something you like that has long term potential of remaining in favour (about the opposite to what Crazy does - especially as he says bugger all before it tanks) and stick with it by buying more on dips.
"Buy low, sell high."
"Let the trend be your friend."
"Cut your losses short and let your profits run"
And in the case of Crazy's picks.
"When in doubt, stay out."
Would you like to take my name out of your IDs, Crazyfool? |

Would you say that is "flying"?
Maybe gliding along at a low altitude would be better. |

Copper advances
Copper advanced Wednesday for the first session in three. Inventories at London Metal Exchange fell to 420,275 tons Tuesday, down 5,000 tons from a day ago, according to data from the exchange.
Copper was rising "as a rebound in global equity markets coupled with another hefty drop in copper inventories has steadied the complex across the board," said Edward Meir, an analyst at MF Global. |

By Moming Zhou, Market watch
Last update: 2:35 p.m. EDT April 29, 2009Comments: 124NEW YORK (Market watch) -- Gold futures rose Wednesday for the first session in three, climbing above $900 an ounce as the U.S. dollar fell after a worse-than-expected U.S. economic report, raising gold's investment appeal.
Meanwhile, copper futures rallied nearly 5% to above $2 a pound, pacing strong gains in crude oil and U.S. stocks as inventories at London Metal Exchange showed another decline.
Gold for June delivery gained $6.90, or 0.8%, to end at $900.05 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. May copper gained 9.4 cents, or 4.9%, to $2.01 a pound.
After floor trading closed, gold reduced part of today's gains in electronic trading after the Federal Reserve said that the economic outlook had improved over the last six weeks, although the economy was likely to remain weak for a time. The Fed also kept its key interest rate unchanged at 0 to 0.25%.
Gold for June delivery fell $4.70, or 0.5%, to $895.80 an ounce in recent trading |

Interesting developments that may shed additional light on the spectacular gains in the latter part of last week - from an open of 0.60 on Wednesday to as high as 1.24 on Friday morning. Reports coming through of approaches for Mungana ahead of the IPO. A succesful sale would clear debt and not hurt sentiment at all - next few weeks should be interesting.
April 17 (Bloomberg) -- Kagara Ltd., an Australian zinc and copper producer, has received approaches for its gold assets that are being readied for a A$150 million ($108 million) initial share sale in July to help reduce debt.
âWe are not just confining ourselves to the IPO route,â Joe Treacy, a director with Perth-based Kagara, said today in an interview. âWeâve also had quite a lot of expressions of interests from other companies who are in the gold space looking for gold assets.â
Kagara is divesting the gold assets to help repay A$150 million of debt and is in refinancing talks with lenders, Treacy said. Rio Tinto Group and Alcoa Inc. are among global mining companies selling shares, bonds or assets to trim debt and boost cash as the global recession crimps demand, cuts metals prices and slashes earnings.
âWe will be guided at the end of the day by what the market can bear,â Treacy said. âAt the end of the day, we will weigh up all those options.â
Kagara jumped to a six-month high in Sydney trading, gaining 16 percent to A$1 at the 4:10 p.m. Sydney time close on the Australian stock exchange. The stock has more than doubled this month and has a market value of A$250 million.
âWe are not seeing anything unusualâ on the share register, Treacy said. This monthâs rebound in copper and zinc prices has also boosted the stock, he said. |
