Down 25% now. Could be a case of buy in gloom, sell in boom.
Never saw a capital raising stock go down so much.
What do you think Leggy? |

A 1 for 1 rights issue at 60c - nearly half the last traded price.
The rights aren't tradable and it is ex the rights entitlement when it recommences trade on Thursday. So no chance to sell out before the price drop if you didn't want to take them up.
I don't think thats looking after your shareholders. If you're not an Aus or NZ resident you might not even be legally allowed to take up the rights - thats if they even send you the personalised application forms. Not happy.
There's some information at the end of the presentation regarding specific countries and relevant restrictions.
The Chinese again swoop down on another mining company.
KZL will reduce gearing from 39% to 5% and have a short term cash facility of $10m to cover operating costs. I didn't realise the were in such bad shape. |

I'm out of KZL but looking at it's trend channel. Or is it a flag formation? Will you ask Chris for me? Anyway it's near it's support line now. Will consider getting in again if it has a bounce up.
Yes dingbat I sold that gold stock and bought MRE. So far it seems like I did the right thing. I sold gold stocks because the USD could go to it's resistance line in it's trend channel, or is it a flag formation?
Do you know the USD won't do that, dingbat? |

I follow the rule: When in doubt, get out. There are other good copper stocks.
Anyway copper closed at it's highest point in 8 months last night so they should have a good day. |

it reads thus
"REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF VOLUNTARY SUSPENSION
Further to our request of 2 June 2009, Kagara Ltd advises that it now anticipates being in a position
to make an announcement to the market with respect to its proposed significant capital raising on
Tuesday, 9 June 2009. However, to enable the book build which forms part of the institutional
component of the capital raising to be conducted, Kagara Ltd requests that its securities continue in
voluntary suspension until pre-open on Thursday, 11 June 2009.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the requested extension of voluntary suspension
should not be granted. " |

if you read below and copy the links into your browser you'll understand..
Capital raising and removal from asx200 by s&p are major 2 reasons...
also go to asx.com.au and look up their code and see latest announcements..
it shouldn't hurt too much.. i hope..although some fund managers may bail as they require stocks to be part of asx200 for them to keep in their portfolios!!! |

"So it's happening again. Can't you see? Everyone is moving out of U.S. Treasuries and into commodities and stocks because the recession is over! Demand for government debt is falling. Demand for risk is rising! Dollar weakness equals economic strength!"
Pig's Ar$e the recession is over. The worst is yet to come but the herd mentality rule and it's a case of 'if you can't beat them, join them.'
At least temporarily. |

What about some diversification into gold and nickel? They are both doing well and when gold can close above $1,000 and stay there, even the gold bashing morons on this will be hypocrites and will be buying.
You can get the best of both with IGO |

Copper, Silver, Nickel and Crude Oil all at 6 to 8 month highs.
Same thing with all major gold miners.
CNX is less than it was 8 months ago.
