how many barrels does inp have?
1 billion? remember from last year shot up 500% in one day after ann... high was like $2 intraday

You need to do calculations based on what is known but as the announcement states "potential" and no details as to what the farmout will consist of it is all very "ball park" atm.
You can work on things like:
11.6 billion barrells mean resource which mind you is UOIIP
35% recovery rate = 4.06 billion barrells, and
they only have 50% of the package = 2.03 billion barrels
50% debt = 1.01 bill barrels
a farmout of 50% (say?) being a MAJOR interest leaves them 50% of .5 billion barrells = 500 million barrells
etc |

The stock has done great, but does anyone understand the details. For instance, do we know what the Philippines will tax on their 3700 bbls per day? (presumably they won't get US$120 x 365 days x 3700 bbls = US$160mn?).
How do we judge the 11.6bn barrels. What discount do we put that on? How do other E&P stocks trade in Australia? Is there a rule of thumb that the pros use?

| Well my calcs say the company is still undervalued given the announcement. Just need to be careful as they talk about potential and we don't know what the farm out agreement will be but even on 50% still looks good. Given recovery rates, debt, costs etc |
