Hiya all,
Aru must be getting close to further news reporting on Nolans ~ has been some time.
After the last group of positive reports, and to see where it's ended up now, who knows.
However, a.s. is very up-beat about the co's future, and after all that we've heard, "subs/primes/and other interesting negatives" (as factual or as exaggerated as those news items are), LIFE GOES ON!
Cheers :) |

| I think the thing here flick is that most of the posters only post here, greg being the one exception. I think its a little disrespectful to REF, REJ etc to bring the arguments here if ya know what i mean. Up until recently, this was the one thread where no fights happened and i think the boys would appreciate it if it stayed that way. |

G'day Jcho REF and REJ...and anyone else. I trust you are all well.
If the dire global situation can be summed up in a word its OIL. Some scaremongering reports came out yesterday that we could be paying $8 for petrol in 10 years. I suppose if petrol has more than doubled in 10 years - why cant it quadruple in the next 10?
All means more money MUST go into exploration and development of alternative energy sources...and not only for the greenhouse positives. I'd really hope "our mobs" ARU LYC are not sitting back congratulaitng themsleves on whats done so far., fantastic as it is. LYC have bought in Malawi - but more needs to be found going forward. Petrol @ $8 leads to a loaf of bread at $10 a slab of beer at $150+ (oooh the humanity : (
The future for REE co's is enormous...but they cant afford to be resting on their laurels. The old joke about " I filled my car today and doubled its value" wont be that far off the mark.
Have a good weekend all. |

hi all: isnt the market dreadful? lyc tried to rally on the news of seriously increased export restrictions on RE from China. It should stay this was a RE a byproduct of iron ore mining in the north and they are needing to access higher grade ore (well if you call 30-35% Fe high grade). still waiting to buy back into aru and buy more lyc but in this market who knows. gregg i agree completely the outlook for RE has only got better as far as hybrids go. another one i trade for the same reason ADY - lithium which is a competitng battery technology (REF, REJ, Gregg-any of you follow?) and potash. Trust your all well. i dont really have much to say. just wanted to say hi and wish you all a good w/e.

Cats..I'd say the price of LYC has dropped due to the market in general.
Funding is already in place...everything on track as outlined by the company...just a waiting game now...as Ive said before, but no one seemed to listen, the stock has been range bound between around $1.20 and $1.50 for sometime and i expect this to keep going as production not due till Sept ? next year. Low range could well drop below $1.20 given global down turns - and top end not as high - but principal remains the same. We still hold original parcels..(break even of 54c) - and have bought and sold along the way ...looking a bit lower to buy again at this stage...Rising oil is a huge plus for REE mobs...LYC ARU...as motorists look even further afield for alternative energy resources. Any more dips should be used to get in or top up..but if people choose not to..i dont care - we're still doing v v well out of them. They should rise today - so I'd wait before buying..next week, week after perhaps...do your own homework though. |

Greg.
Any idea what has happened to the price of LYC or is it just the market in general? |

Hi pat,
as others have stated, these are just our thoughts.
From what we've seen, very hard to predict which way share market will generally go, however i've tried to find a quality / product in a stock, and will endeavour to then follow that stock till comfortable to sell.
Aru imo, fits a few criteria, its got diversity (pitty not too much in ironore)and a healthy future ~ however it's not all 'peaches & cream' yet. There's some serious funding required to move beyond this year.
I would think a mix of share + debt would be healthy.
Income stream proposed will more than cover loans ~ imo, even if the lot were borrowed!
So, i've put my $ where my :O is, but thats my opinion.
Check their web-site, and check for yourself.
Have a good one,
Cheers :) |

G'day Patto - I don't really follow ARU - but Jcho REF and REJ know what they're talking about on this one. 88c does seem a low price on them from where I know they have been., but that doesn't neccesarily mean anything.
Jcho REF REJ - sorry about the other day - one of the boys from another thread bought a horse which had its first run the other day so there was a bit of excitement in the camp. Sorry...we'll take them elsewhere next time. |

hi all: rej - youre right this forum gets some weird postings sometimes and when it happens theres a whole lot.
patto - i reckon aru is fine. still early days but if you believe in the REE story ARU probably offers the best leverage. LYC has done a great job getting to where they are and are probably lower risk than aru but offer less leverage due to lots of shares on issue. this is my opinion and not a recommendation.
Regards
JC |

Regarding ARU do you think the SP is going to drop a bit more? I really like this stock - in your opinion is 88c good buying. |

REF
I don't recall asking you about CVI's funding - but more specifically the REE project. So thoughts on that (if any) please.
