Misread No 1 - I said he has over 100k of LYC shares - i did nto include a $ sign.
Misread No 2 - Gla8 says he has >100,000 LYC shares near the end of his post....but if you want to think I hacked him too - thats fine.
I thought you were the great researcher, yet you can't read whats put in front of you? LMAO.
As for nomemoew - my point was that you cant help looking up profiles and casting aspersions on any id - even when someone has been around for a long time. I just dont get that. |

OK thanks for that about the US REA's.
I can see you are an alternative energy bull - but some say it is in reality some time off - but we have to start somewhere - hell it has already started but humans are slow to change.....and the oil companies and arab states have to get their future "house" in order.
Out of interest can I ask you why you went for LYSCF and not ARU or was this not a consideration?
Nice mix in your portfolio and I wish you the best of luck in the market atm. |

All I know about U.S. mining REA's is that there is a location in the Rocky Mountains which was bought up several years ago by one of the U.S. conglomerated oil companies! These U.S. companies are robber barons and are one reason we have high oil prices. DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE U.S. COMPANIES INSPITE OF THE FACT THAT I WAS BORN IN THE U.S.A.! Own 1,000 shares of Succor Inc. (SU), Cameco (CCJ), Advantage Energy Income Fund (AAV), Billiton Limited ADR (BHP), Goldcorp Inc (GG), >100,000 shares of Lynas Corp (LYSCF) and Yingli Green Energy Holdings ADR (YGE) There are others but these are my prizes! |

Actually Gregory, your comments seem to be the only sour ones.
I was replying to a question: "What's behind the continuing LYC price drop? Today the market is up yet LYC continues to fall. Is there some info behind it that I don't have?"
And this company is opposed widely as it is in an industry that ethical investors avoid. Even Fund managers and Financial Advisors must mention this category of companies to ethical investors if their investment goals include avoiding any industry that poses a threat to the earth or plants and animals.
Close your ayes all you like, but remember, i was answering a question and offered points that may have answered the questioner about what was behind the poor performance of this company - that was his reason wasnt it?

REEs are found present in the earth often with Thorium and Uranium. Thorium and LYC does feature quite a bit in discussions about REE - although my understanding is that they have very low levels of both Thorium and Uranium in their deposits. Thorium is slightly radioactive and considered as Jax says an alternative to Uranium.
Perhaps psstocks is alluding to the fact that REE sector could be seen to be like the U sector?
As for what the id gregg says the stock seems to see-saw nicely for traders - ask yourself are you a trader or long term holder and does that suit you?
If a trader or "long term" holder especially in this market no matter what stock you hold - who knows where the market will be come 5, 15, 25 weeks from now let alone July next. At these levels the sp could look like a bargain or it could look expensive down the track - especially if the traders decide they want out for the medium term and it trades in the lower end of it's trading range.
To quote the id greggroach2003:
"How many times have they been to these levels - and i told you to load up? How many times did you ignore me and watch them bounce back to $1.30? How many times will it happen again?
Not a drama in the world when you know the story and the trading patterns. I told you many many times - nothing will happen till June - Sep next year - plenty of time to trade and play..and keep some for long term! Live learn - and make money out of it."
