| I went to the casino a couple of years ago. There was a guy there betting on roulette the same $$$ on both red & black. He had said he was working on a special theory he had? It all came unstuck when zero came up 3 times in a row. He left a beaten young man. |

| The general thrust of thi H.it.ler thing is that he was opportunistic within a unique set of circumstances. There's a huge amount of history on it including plenty on the the WEB. Some of the main points are: Germany was reeling from defeat in W.W.1. They had some parts of their country taken away as compo.for invaded countries. They had trade sanctions which caused massive inflation,the money in the wheelbarrow in the 20's is renowned. Then the great depression hit and the German people had long had enough. In the 20's H.i.t.ler formed his na.zi party & his brown shirt h.i.t. squads. In the early 30's no one party dominated it was a coalition Govt. Ageing Von Hindenburg was President & with the economic turmoil Hi.t.ler wangled his way to Chancellor. Hindenburg died in 1934 and Adolf became President (& dictator of Germany) He was able prepare Germany for war by using his charismatic power to win the hearts & minds of the German people who were downtrodden & poor for so many years(blame the Jews etc.)In a few short years he got the country going,with jobs & income people were more agreeable. |

He is not the best one to ask. They are too big and he loves the penny dreadfuls.
I'm not saying I like big ones either. I don't like RIO either.
But there is a happy medium.
I'll say it again: There should be TWO things to aim for. The first one everyone knows about and that is to make a profit but the second one not too many care about is to preserve what you already have.
The most important rule in the book is cut your losses short and let you profits run. How can you do that with some spec that jumps around like a fart in a bottle?

I have to admit I don't know about German politics. Reynard can be vague and therefore his message gets open to one's interpretation of what he means.
Could he have meant the party who gets the most votes does not necessarily mean it has won? Because that is the way it is in some places. |

| Oh, before I go running off to the Economic Dept to check out AVB, what do you think about me taking the money out of MQG and putting into RIO? A couple of Econ guys told me there is a lot more "upside" in RIO than MQG now. Dividend is a big though... What do you reckon? Will it help me pay off my Uni loan???? LOL |

| Hey, thanks for that!!! I've made a little money on MQG cause I bought them at 36.08 but haven't made anything much on AGO or AWE. I thought I might sell the AGO and AWE (about 6K) and buy more MQG shares with 4K and put 2K into something a little more risky. Either ROG or AVB, eh? I'll check out AVB this avo. Thanks mate! |
