http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/279827_cons piracy02ww.html Obviously only some these "certified nuts" have done reasearch. The remainder just don't wanted to be treated as fools.
The official government story is so full of holes that even kindergarten children ask for a different story now. They like the one about that girl's goat children read to Bush for about 1/2 hour after he was informed of the attack. |

If you think the CIA was involved in Sep 11 then you are a certified nut!
No research is required! |

jackson_92,
Good on ya for at least looking. Most people like things handed on a platter and dont breakout the previous ann's to backtrack what has been unfolding.
Uran in my view, has a very well connected Top Shelf management team in place which to me is the Key to is deals and upcoming success:
Michael Kiernan, Chairman
Kate Hobbs, Managing Director
Ross Kennedy, Director (ex director of Palidin Resouces)
and the list goes on here:
http://www.uranlimited.com.au/corporateProfiles3.h tml
Take a look at this article from resource stocks, interesting:
http://www.uranlimited.com.au/mediaCoverage/Ura_%2 0RS_Nov%2006a.pdf
A recent article from a Czech Republic paper which they are now are considering expanding to:
http://www.uranlimited.com.au/mediaCoverage/AFP_25 -1-06.pdf
Some fundementals that you may consider prior to investing in any U stock is:
Management (proven experience)
Low Market Cap (how many shares on offer)
Production Potential (preferably within 6-12 months)
Low Risk Factor, Sector Climate, Projects Location
Ground level entry position or buy in entry.
Like picking any good stock there are certain fundementals which you should set to your own rules or criteria..
To me Uran has all of this and each week that passes it seems to becoming less risk, although every stock posses risk.
I am not telling anyone on this form to buy, but only be aware that many Junior U stocks wont cross the finish line and their SP increase on hot air on the sector's climate.
There are a few great U stocks out there in Australia, but by the time they prove all their resources and start to mine their resource to get into production, it could take many years, in which case they may stand a chance on missing sector Boom and cashing in on rising price of U.
Research is everything as well as timing of decisions when it comes to investing as most probably know.
Saying this, I am patient to wait to see what this trading halt brings to Uran ... |

Uranium companies that are producers i believe are the way to go because they make money from selling uranium, whereas Explorers spend money searching for uranium. They are set to benefit from the predicted rise in the price of uranium.
With Uran Limited (URA.AX) possibly set to become a producer by the end of 2007 and with a small market cap, it looks very attractive. Especially cos Uran is negotiating several deals in different countries in order to have "producer" status. Also, why would Uran spin off their nikel assets if they were not convinced that they will achieve their goal.
Thank you for posting about URA and making me aware of it. |

clearheadspace,
i looked into URA.AX slightly and yes Uran Limited does sound very convincing as a uranium junior.
but as a stock trading 'junior'(turning 15 this year ><) i dont really know what makes a uranium (or mining/reasource) company good/worth investing in.
anyway thats my problem, thanks for the info on Uran Limited and the website http://www.brr.com.au/event/URA/2016/16399 |

brukevlay,
LOL, my userID, it is only that, a userID so I am not worried as it is something I feel I always enjoy which is a frame of mind aka: clear head space :)
Not into charting much (a little and enough) but yes, seems to be a trading halt at the moment for URA.
There maybe some capitol raising by the looks of the TH, but if not that, I think there could/will be a significant breakout indeed! |

clearheadspace,
You should use a different name. That one doesn't suit you. Are you into charting or just the fundamental side?
I mainly look at charts. There is a pennant formation on URA, could break out real soon. Maybe tomorrow. |

brukevlay,
Yes, this can be the general concensis of posting on discussion forums. Most folk go with what they know or believe from a safety or security point of view.
Saying this, it all boils down to Risk vs Reward.
For those who do their homework and realise that Timing is of the essence when it comes to playing the Risk vs Reward game and adding to this, a common factor governing alot of people who scored big time is that they too the Risk or Gamble to obtain their reward. With some research the risk can be reduced but never eliminated. And the more research the better, as far as I am concerned.
Anyways, thanks for the reply :) |

BHP took over WMC, WMC had (reasonably at time) locked into contract the prices for most of Uranium output at Roxby (`38% world output).
When will these prices be renegotiated for renewal ?
2010 ? |

I don't know about the first one. I haven't done any research. Therefore if I did make any comment it would be nothing more than groundless assumptions based on nothing more than what I think the answer could be. Some people do this. But when you think about it, it's a really dumb thing to do. Would you not agree?
However if you have done research on the matter and can supply proof of what you say, I'd be interested to know about it.
You have done your research on this second one. Congratulations and it is good to see you don't fit the category of those I mentioned above. I would just like to ad though it wasn't only the CIA who were involved.
Apart from the fact I'm not a communist, good, bad or otherwise, exactly the same thing applies to this third one as it does to the first one. |

Yeah and they didn't 'really' fly to the moon! It was all a hoax!
Oh and Sept 11 was an inside job by the CIA!
And like a good communist you keep quiet about Stazi funding Greenpeace protests in the West and North Korea exporting heroin to the west. |

Clearheadspace,
I checked on Google re both government's uranium policy. Better than I imagined. It seems both places are politically stable with no civil unrest. It might sound a strange thing to check out but I've lost track of who wants to kill who these days. Charts and fundamentals are great.
There are other excellent resource companies as well but try telling that to some others here and even being conservative to the point of almost telling a lie and saying 150% av. p/a gain is not difficult to achieve and you get disbelieved. They usually don't check it out first. Just want to tell you you're wrong. Still stuck with their industrials, BHPs, RIOs, and their ways of making real estate investments work.
I know commodities are not for the conservarive but some of them who are not interested because of this, talk of their margin loans. Why bother? |

Hey guys have a look here:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601082&si d=aYud.MN9IVoY&refer=canada
It appears the cost estimate for Cameco's plans to seal the water leak at Cigar Lake mine will be delayed.
I wonder if this will cause any affect on uranium miners on ASX. |

Everyone is entitled to their opinion which is their fav U stock.
Surprised that not one person has mentoned URAN LTD, which is URA.AX should you choose to check it out.
Great management, Great Tenements, have a listen on Brr.com.au and have a listen to Kate Hobbs last radio interview located at:
http://www.brr.com.au/event/URA/2016/16399
Anyways, one of the many but a chance on being into production this year, and I recommend you do your own research.
Having said this, I Hold and feel very confident that this stock will make leaps and bounds over many other U explorers as this will be a U producer within 12 Months.
Happy Australia day to ya all! |

Yes, the truth will more than likely win out in the end but this has been going on for years. So no, the proof is there that markets can be manipulated probably for almost as long as the Fed desires. The Income Tax people in the USA is an illegal tax that does NOT go to the government. It goes to the Federal Reserve which is a PRIVATELY OWNED cartel. This same "Federal" Reserve prints their money then loans it back at interest to the government.
So they are not exactly short of a dollar and have no trouble doing this on the world's futures exchanges especially when markets are thinly traded.
So where is the end of this manipulation in your opinion? When this commodities bull market is finally over? Do you have any idea what silver for instance would be worth now if it was not manipulated. Look at it's fundamentals. Considering the fundamentals and also it has been in a bull market for 6 years, it should be about $30 p/oz. Maybe that's conservative. If you are happy with that then that's fine for you but I'm not in the minority by saying 'free' markets should be exactly that.
You are right in suggesting I can't do anything about it but there are people out there that are trying. Bill Murphy from GATA is one. Others including the ones I mentioned are doing their bit. But if there are too many like you who just don't care then that makes their job all the harder.
I didn't invade anybodys elses space. I gave the original poster what I thought was good advice. He wanted to know about Junior uranium miners that were traded in the USA and Canada. I mentioned two that have done extremely well for me. I said they weren't juniors but thought he might like to consider them as in my opinion it is too early in the bull market to get too interested in juniors. Like you suggested there are too many hopefuls. Some who don't even own an expensive piece of machinery but want to get in on the act. A lot of them are traded on the 'Pink Slip' in the USA.... Continued. |
