Hi Jim,

I was wondering whether you had a view on PXR (Palace Resources). Its next door to NTU at its Super Gardiner-Tanami Project. Its seems to have been overlooked and has only 46 million shares with $2,783 million in the bank. Its market cap is around the $10 million mark. Its also looking for uranium projects in West Africa. Also, I've heard you've got a stock forum. I would like to get more info.

Regards,

John

Re:Junior Uranium Mining Companies Reply to this message
I have found other good uranium stocks but nothing compares to the quality of WMT.

There is one small explorer with higher grades than WMT but it is still very early days for them and you'll need to pay me money to join my forum to find out about that one! :)

Re:Junior Uranium Mining Companies Reply to this message
Yeah Money Tree said he didn't know much and guess what? Thats about the only part he got right!

WMT is running up because of the huge grades that they have in Tanzania. They are currently working there now and drilling will commence in May!

WMT are currently at 42c and ROY are at 31c. WMT market cap is now $195 mill so it is already leaving ROY in the dust!

WMT also have a number of other high quality projects in the pipeline but it is the Henri deposit in Tanzania that has everybody excited!

Might be of interest...

Excerpt from Apr-07 "Money Tree" newsletter from Joseph Palmer & Sons, Sydney stock broker:

"....There are a raft of speculative U stocks out there but I’ll just stick to the ones I know a little bit about ...If you are still looking to punt on one that hasn’t run yet, ROY – Royal Resources (30c) has just announced a uranium Joint Venture deal with the same US team (Lynx) who did a deal with WMT when they were still trading below 3c. At 30c ROY’s Mkt Cap is still only $12m (WMT’s Mkt Cap was $10m back when they were trading at 3c and announced their Lynx JV deal but are now capped at over $150m)."

Hi brukevlay

Just a quick correction, the V is not for Vancouver as we don't have our own exchange anymore, the V is for "Venture" as in the Toronto Venture Exchange. TSX.V ... it is a venture capital exchange following mostly mining companies exploring for uranium gold silver moly etc. hope that helps

Re:Junior Uranium Mining Companies Reply to this message
The Australian uranium industry is expecting a favourable change of policy by the labour opposition announcement at their upcoming annual conference.
It would appear this change of policy will create a frenzied boost of Canadian and French companies seeking involvement in the energy markets of Australia.
Already Mega Uranium and Centram have signalled their respective intentions by taking over Hindmarsh resources and contributing to Crosslands Uranium exploration program
Crosslands will migrate to the ASX board on Friday 13th April with the IPO grossly oversubscribed and attracting the attention of the instos already on the Newcastle stock Exchange evidenced by the increase in recent volumes

Re:Junior Uranium Mining Companies Reply to this message
Well space cadets ye olde Crosslands Uranium certainly got nuclear yesterday.

With over 700,000 traded on the NSX it is preparing itself for launch into the ASX orbit.

It certainly gave all systems including the ASX a test yesterday with sellers hopes being inflated by offers early at 93 cents.

It may need to tap the brakes or it could incur a speeding ticket from the corporate Mr Plod.

I believe Richardson Cleary and Euprene are dusting off their suits(pinstripe)for the ASX launch which I believe Eddie MacGuire has accepted a role as MC in the absence of Goff Whitlam, as his fee was substantially less no cost options being allocated to his future step children and his long lost love child consumated with Ita Buttrose whilst on a shopping excursion over Christmas 1990 in Crookwell(NSW)

It should be a spectacular event lead by Midnight Oil and Peter Garret and staged in the carpark of Lucas Heights reactor- I believe the overwhelming ticket sales have tempted the promoters to consider the larger venues of cyberspace or the natural auditorium of that well known outside stadium called Olympic Dam

Re:Junior Uranium Mining Companies Reply to this message
I have just had a look at that stock you mentioned (CROSSLANDS) and it appears to have a pedigree of the who's who in the Australian uranium industry.

Between Cleary , Richardson and Euprene(geologist) there would be hardly an unturned rock either in the Territory or South Australia that they havent seen.(both states are u3o8 friendly)

I enclose a copy of an article out of a mining magazine which may help you understand the company a bit more.

Newcastle-listed stock, Crossland Uranium Mines, the reason being that two other uranium stocks, A-Cap Resources and Hindmarsh Resources, have migrated from that small bourse (now part of the National Stock Exchange) and done rather well for themselves. A-Cap this week reported more high grades from Botswana while Hindmarsh was gobbled up by Canada's Mega Uranium.

Crossland is now poised to jump across to the ASX with a $5.67 million raising based on projects in the Northern Territory and South Australia. The PR people got themselves into a lather because the new board includes Bob Cleary, former CEO of Energy Resources of Australia , and two others who worked at Ranger. But the most significant part of the announcement is that the Canadians, through Toronto-listed Centram Exploration,(David Mosher a former Austrlaian heads this company and was creditted with the Jabiluka find) have struck a deal to come up with $8 million for a 50 per cent stake in the projects. Another hunk of our uranium sector off to Toronto

Strateco Resources Inc.
Hathor Exploration Ltd.
The 'V' he put after the code means it is traded on the Vancouver exchange.
