| LYC held its ground very well today - while all around it sunk. Even for the day - over 22m traded - market down nearly 3%. |

Gotta laugh at the deleted messages for breach of terms of service. There are no terms of service to breach and theres no service either.
Do these idiots think they are running a credible stock forum or something? Who would like to break the news to them? |

| Were you being sarcastic? I reckon you were because it is just not you to admit to being wrong. You will twist something inside-out to make yourself sound right than say you are wrong. |

"My call about the sell off being over couldn't have been more wrong. No drama."
It's more than a drama. It must be a first for someone like you to admit you were wrong. Are you feeling ok? |

| If the situation is as urgent and as large as we are led to believe - I'd be thinking more about how much are they going to offer to takeover. Hypothetically, they wont muck around knowing the Chinese offer to "buy in" (takeover) went over - and there would be a lot of hurdles (FIRB) and a lot of shareholder resentment at selling out our assets...but everything is for sale at a price, as they say...and I dont think our company is any different. I note there was a bit of shareholder resentment at selling out to the Chinese (you would also have seen this at HC). IMO, If you are a shareholder of any stock you are most usualy in it for the money..not the morals. The question is would they (US) be looking at buying in or buying us out? |

Roy - V interesting post on HC yesterday at 11:49am. Worth a read (along with project update) - I presume you already have. Pretty much a ramp for a newsletter and 613% is fairyland stuff imo - but if the gist of the comment is anywhere near accurate (and i strongly suggest it is) would make for some v v exciting times ahead once the 21st and then the 23rd October are behind us.
Haven't sold anything yet - and averaging way up this time buying at 45 - but I read and hear its the only way to go !! |

Scottie - How will they drop below .45? Do a little research (of your own) and work it out...and I'll give you a few much needed clues to work with.
They were 90c at the time of the announcement - not 65...and this price was on the expectation the Chinese deal would proceed, which would have more than doubled the number of shares on issue and guaranteed a $250m debt to boot. A prospective 1.4b shares @ 90c; this would equate (on a dilution basis alone) to 1.7B shares at approx 72 - 74c. Your guess is off the mark by over 200% already. Then factor in that without the funding we are sitting on an enormous asset with no way of getting it out of the ground - but the co still attained a market cap of $1.2B! We now have the means to extract the goop - REOs and LYC are becoming more widely known each day. LYC is the closest to production outside China - and if you read Hot Copper, even the US Govt/Military are now aware of the urgency (and uncertainty) of supply (and cannot rely on Chinese supply). With only LYC on the radar to fill the void in the next 2 - 3 years - how many shares do you think you might pick up @ 22c ? You may be lucky and pick some up around the 53 - 55c mark next week - I believe closer to 60. If your post below is indicitive of your usual depth of analysis/research - the share market is not for you. |

What are the chances of this dropping below $0.45 when all the additional shares come onto the market?
The number of shares is almost tripling so wouldn't the price end up around one third of the price at announcement i.e. $0.65 to $0.22...? |

Correct PU...and thanks. GGG very very long way from production as well. AT long last we (LYC) are about to get this show in the road - for keeps.
I suppose thats one thing LYC have over its competition atm....it is now funded and ready to go. |

| Based on the numebr of shares to be issued at 45 (1B) and the number of shares prior at 655m @ 90c (which was overpriced) fair value would seem to be a touch over 60c which i thought they were heading to...63c on 8m shares at around 3pm - then they finish at 67.5 on 23m shares traded. Great news for holders but buggered if i know how to work out a price from here. Might stick to the horses for a while till the dust settles. Presently got a sell order in at 70 - and will buy them all back @ 45..see if it goes. If DOW is up will raise sell price...plus LYC finished on the days high ...yep - convinced myself..will move it up later tonight. May as well throw darts !! |
