Real glad Pirate - put it all into LYC. Why do we have to go over this time and time again...I'm up ????k You're down at least 86K - but you try to crank me ?? - you obviously need to think that someone is worse off than you - but no one is. BHP report must have been a ball tearer Pirate - after trading up all day - managed to drop to the red on release of the report. And a super div of half %...you gotta be kidding ! You won't be down 86k tomorrow - more like $110k....but keep laughing old fella - its all only on paper..we know : )
How about you cheer your grandson Jax up - he takes everything to heart - then spits the dummy. Thought he may have changed when he left here - but he's still the same sook as always. For someone who makes the money he says - he sure is unhappy - dont you think ? He still has trouble answering honest questions too (has great trouble saying anything really) ..tries to turn things around - play the victim..then sooks off...dont need it...give him a call "as a friend" - cheer him up a bit. |

Chris don't worry about Yahoo or anybody else for that matter.
This website is Yahoo's responsibility not yours.
Just worry about your own trading and try to stop the consistent losses.
Have a nice life and try to make some money for a change. |

Yeah I know about it smart.
We stay mostly away from big stock. Bigger returns from spec sector where undervalued opportunities abound.
I'll stick to my knitting.....
Thanks all the same. |

I like the spike but the volatility is extreme and PRR has be equally erratic as it has gone from .01 to .06
Tough trade, how many shares do you trade?

Smart the guys on my forum mostly look at mid to long term opportunities in small mining stocks.
We also try and pick up short term trading opportunities.
PRR>AX is a good example. Check the chart. We rode that spike. :) |

IMHO!
I meant to add metals and mining!
If either would retrace another 5% between now and OCT 26 2007 I would load up in a heart beat. Now, I just hope I don't have to buy higher as my calculations continue to indicate weakness of 5% min making me a buyer.

I agree I too am waiting for metals to turn but I would rather they correct just another 5% making the Global interest intense and running them UP at least 20% and maybe 30% by Oct 26 2007
Now mark that day as that will be the BIG money day for metals and many other securities.
OCT 26 2007

I expect more of the same flight to Quality Value and Growth securities continues to be the central interest as buyers flee weakness or speculative securities. I noticed SAMSUNG reported some very impressive growth number yesterday late as they continue to capture market share.

A flight to Quality Value and Growth continues to make this intraday trends a buying opportunity.
Yesterday, Senate Budget Chair called for the resignation of voting Fed member Poole, stating that Poole's comment last week that only a 'calamity' would justify a Fed interest rate cut before a scheduled Sept. 18 meeting was 'reckless' and 'irresponsible at time when market worries that the Fed discount rate cut on Friday may signal that their outlook has been flawed. Another important fact is the US short-dated yields for U.S government indicate the US debt fell sharply. In other news it seems that the GBP has regained strength as the risky carry traders return to the global game we see the corrections have in fact helped the UK economy these past few weeks. I would like to see a continuation of the same further strengthening of the UK market economy. However is seems if the GBP continues to increase we may find that the credit crisis may be more of a deeper problem than recently calculated.
In precious metals we still see a continuation of weakness which has moved closer to taking Silver down lower creating a downward draft for all metals, as we look over to the crude markets we continue to see further weakness likewise moving the commodity ever lower into the higher 60’s. All this while we calculate crude will continue this trend going forward as the seasonal changes near and demand continues to wane.
Don’t expect much from both the Fed Chairman and Treasury Secretary’s meeting rather we see this may be more of the same predictable non transparency by this administration. We have indicated over the past weeks that the EURO and the GBP has to correct or their respective markets will continue to put undue pressure on the global currencies, while currencies such as the CHF continue to make strides in trade and the currencies corrections.
I expect the CAD will continue trending downward as it is expected that the core retail sales estimates are projected lo ... |
