Dheadallthebloodytime tried to ramp SBM when the placement went through. It was 59c back then.
Now it is 45c.

Anyone accusing anyone else of ramping on this can't be serious.
90% of post want to tell others how good they are at stock picking or bag someone else's effort.
Ramping could work a bit on quality forums like ShareScene or Aussie Stock but not here.
2/3rds of the other 10% here consists of poor quality poems and the tiny bit left out of that lot is my quality stuff. |

Pirate - I say this as a friend...I would love to see you in LYC. Dont matter they aren't producing YET. They are already signing contracts to supply (2 or 3 already more in the way v soon)...which is money in the bank. I've said this before and i'll say it again - read the REE thread - totally ignore everyhting i have said about them - read the others...there are a few there who are even smarter than me..yes...have a look...dont miss out. You reckon you have balls like watermelons...lets see them ! This dip has been a golden opp to get in...(even though i didnt top up again) - dont "waist" it !
BHP huge - I'm happy for ya...but to claw back maybe $10k today over the $40k i would have been called on in past month...no way ! V v v happy to be outta that one...as i said - even the most loyal BHPer could not like that pi$$ poor dividend. What do you think ? |

| Well Chrisssy - you're about half right this time...congratulations... maybe you ARE learning at last. I did get a bit lucky with the rate of the increase...but i already held LYC long before i got out of BHP - and used the proceeds to top up. The REE thread here also confirmed my thoughts - (Thank you all the folk ont eh REE thread) ... BUT it wasn;t all luck - i did some homework before i bought the first time...liked what i saw and kept going..so while i'm the first to concede i have been fortunate - its not all just good luck. Having said that - if you do all the homework in the world and lose - and get it back and more - (and IT IS all thru pure fluke) does it matter ? Your brass is back and you can smile...but - if you recall everything - even when i told everyone else to get in at 31 - and even 29 - i put a lot of reasoning behind the advice...so as much as luck plays a part in everything we do in life - i think you are over stating the amounts of luck in this case. I could say i was lucky to have switched when i did - but in all honesty that was the wifes suggestion - which i agreed with. Luck ? Maybe - Profit - Certainly ! Who cares how ? |

| GREGGY, the 86k is not a debt but a paper loss due to market turn down. I have not sold so no loss and as the market advances that paper loss will diminish. By xmas expect the dji to hit 15000 which our market will reflect.As to lyc have no doubt you are on a good thing but I will only buy in after they produce.Consider by mid next year market will have risen at least 20% from july highs.I play big numbers for long term gain and consider it an amusing game.Goal... to have at least 5 mill on market before i die. Ifind that amusing.My sense of humour may be different to yours. |

No Pirate - have the resources to get anything I want. Have the brains to not follow the crowd - but would not expect you to begin to understand such a concept in the late evening of your lifetime. I'll give you a couple of numbers and if they sit ok with you - I'll be happy...and I won't even mention 300% LYC - oooops sorry - looks like I just did.
Seriously - BHP made a net profit of A$16b...with 4b shares on issue equates to $4 net profit per share....and you for all your loyalty will get an entire US$0.27c...or approx A$0.32c...this huge amount out of $4 net profit per share.? They care about the real shareholders...and the pretenders like you about as much as I do old fella. I doubt the handsome div is gonna clear your $86k debt - do you ? Keep laughing old son...I am. |
