I keep asking for somebody here....
Bruke, Chris, Ecchi to post a tip using charting.
You all criticize but none of you have the balls to provide a real life example of it working!
I use charts as a guide. I prefer candle sticks because they are not mathematically based and do not lag!
Obviously you lot know so much more than I do so please post a real life example of it working.
If you post a real life example that shows your method working I might pay attention.
So far I have seen TOL, RMD, and DMP all tank! |

| My point was that he is criticising your method yet using it to demonstrate something to someone else |

ecchi,
In all fairness he would have been suggesting to look and see how it has appreciated. Anyone can do this. You need to know zero about actual charting. Crazy, apart from candlestick charting, does know zero. He is one of these that thinks charts only show someone where the stock/commodity has been. Whereas in fact it does show that AND where it is likely to go in the future. |

| Bruke, you should have seen it yesterday when he was telling someone to look at the chart for some new stock he was recommending. Funny how he picks and chooses when to listen to the charts. lol |

The fundamentals agree with you Crazy. So do I agree with the fundamentals. What I don't agree with is just buy and hold.
I think 46c was the high for WMT then down to 16.5c now 21c and looks like going lower.
Another: POS About $3.60 high now about $1.60. and looks like going lower.
What you will probably do is show me some resource stock that has not tanked. For every one you show me I'll show you a dozen or more that have.
You don't have to be Einstein to learn the basics of charting. I suggest you do and learn to TRADE. (that does not mean day trade) |

Bruke metals and oil and uranium are good long term plays.
What do your charts say about that? |

You need to be very careful. TTY is going to have to pay a lot more for CSM that is why they are falling along with the weak market.
LYC got a huge vote of confidence today |

Thansk Crazy. No doubt metasl will keep heading on up - but I'm not si sure about oil...very peaky now. I guess we all like to "hold on" to info that pleases us without really questioning it too deeply - as in the comment about $1 per litre...looks a bit of a pipe dream right now though.
Great news re LYC - didn't even look at the announcements though..(lazy)(again) - but it hasnt trasnlated into any share price action - yet. They reckon there are a few of these in the pipeline..so should add to the price stability at the very least - i hope - and stil look to early next year for next significant move up. Thanks again....I'll go check out the announcement now. |

| Thats right Greg, Your logic is improving even if your poems are not. A good time to stay out and Bernanke is going to tell more lies on Thursday US time and everyone will listen to him and make decisions on that. Most believe the "Federal" Reserve is honest. If that isn't stupid enough they also believe it is a government concern. If both that is still not stupid enough most people think Bush is a 'nice Christian man.' How misinformed can people be? So unless I'm also misinformed about Bernanke flapping his trap on Thursday, there will also be some misinformation coming from him to base people's investment decisions on. |

G'day Smart
No doubt at all the demand from China and India will be maintained for many years to come...and over the longer term the big miners are headed way up. I think..and the thought is reinforced by last nights DOW action - that there will be many rocky days ahead over the next week or 2 or 3 and people should tread very warily...unless they are happy to "set and forget" their shares for the longer term. It would be a traders nightmare holding positions overnight....have a look at the markets - ASX + 40 odd points FTSE + 150 odd DOW - down 150 points ....how do you make a decision based on that lot ? And when you factor in hedge fund "activity" - which seemingly throws all fundamentals and logic out the window - why would you wanna be a trader in these times ? |

I believe you will see continued interest going forward as FCX continues to max production in a strong growth market.
I really do not see a decline any time soon for BHP or RIO till at the earliest Oct.
Therefore to expect a slowing at these PPS levels while global market demand has build future demand a simply reflection of this trend is the increase in recycling.
It is my conclusion that copper demand although not at its all time highes will continue to expand globally.

| Not sure copper prices are as closely reflected in the BHP and RIO share prices as they once were Legs. And if RIO miss the mark with their report and get whacked - will there also be some fallout for BHP ? Good for the holders to see the recent rises - but cant help thinking dead cat bounce...but hey - i got BHP wrong once before : ) |
