Sorry Aussie - didn't see it..I'll have a look. Little dip today could be the opening you seek to get in. Good luck !
The Taipan report US$10, i think, is a bit fanciful at this stage - but you never know...they way they are shaping up looks very good indeed. |

As you know the time difference has me getting ready to rest and unwind as the markets turbulance has been exhausting. Have been trading in the UK more often as of late.
Sure do like your AG outlook as I really do feel the best Long Term Investment one can make is AG and AG real estate both are sure to be outstanding Long Term Investments. Although, I believe the organic sector will continue to move Up faster with best short and long term growth forecast. As anything dairy has been a sure winner and again organic continue to lead the sector.
The key in AG real estate is holding the water and mineral rights with any pruchase, then leasing or turning it into a working Farm/Ranch. Global demand for organics, minerals and water continues to increase as supplies become very tight.

"Farming index shows positive signs
Wednesday July 11, 2007, 11:00 am
A key quarterly agriculture index has surged 15.5 per cent on year ago levels, offering another sign farmers are slowly climbing out a financially disastrous drought period.
The Westpac-National Farmers' Federation Commodity Index, released on Wednesday, shows farmers are now in a strong position to capitalise on world global commodity prices.

This sub prime deal in the US has been nothing more than a way to cover the flooding of the markets with USD over the past 5.5 years by the current administration. Blaming sub prime it seems has been a great scapegoat. But don't believe it consumer credit soared as exampled by this weeks reports. Street estimates on the the low side were at 5B and on the high side 8B when the numbers came in they reported 12.9B incredible.
The US economy is strong as exampled by the unemployments and payroll numbers followed up by the Fed Chairmans Bull $hit speech this intraday tout HAWKISH remarks while PUMPING bankers, simply incredible the lenths these cronies will go to.
It seems one just has to work around the Bull $hit from above and look for profits, as the truth in advertising simply $ucks in the states.
Huge profit taking across global markets setting up more LBO heck he who controls the monies I guess you get the picture. Look as the EURO, GBP both continue to expand given they have slowed some what but as in Ger the industrIal number came in at .8 far weaker than expect but still stronger than projected and the only reason for this has been overseas investments. While exports and growth continue on the decline, we find that housing Bubble is set to implode as has tourism and unemployment has been on the increase.
Wow, incredible how easily attention can be distracted from reality and the masses follow, like sheep to the slaughter.

Have been trying to catch up with your schedules seems the markets have been all over the place. This summer trading period has produced some very interesting outcomes. For instance this intraday I traded USD for Thai Baht and flipped them into EURO's the back to USD.
Mad way to make a buck but what a crazy market seems the manipulation in the markets has no end. Today I recieved word that the Saudi's have been dumpping while tellling other they are buying. Look out for a major bust in Oil back to the lower 60's and it is expected they intend to dump gold on the markets.
OMAN I believe will be the point of orgin but there is no telling.
I would let the markets in OZ idle for a day or two if you are long with expectations of a bounce, as the AUD still remains overly exhurberant, while the CAD retraced a bit.
I would hope that the AUD would retrace and correct then regain its Upward trend without a correction to top will only hurt those following her higher.
Sure am glad to see you all are doing alright and still in the game, remember it is a game of percentages nothing more.

Nice little consolidation before the next move up. (Couple of charters have told me they need a little drop back to consolidate.)

"Strikes at Chilean mines send copper prices sky-high

Copper prices soared Tuesday as labor strikes pressured some of the largest copper mines in Chile, which supplies one-third of the world's supply of the metal.
A strike at the Collahuasi mine and labor unrest at state-owned Codelco helped send copper to its highest level in two months, hovering around 8,000 dollars a tonne in London on Monday and Tuesday.

It was the second day of a walkout by workers at Collahuasi, which accounts for about eight percent of Chile's 5.3 million tonnes of copper produced annually, after talks between the union and company management broke down.
"The strike is on, indefinitely, until we sit down to talk with the company," said Sergio Igoni, a union leader at Collahuasi, which is run by subsidiaries of the Anglo-Swiss company Xstrata and global mining giant AngloAmerican.
