Re:Pending Economic Collapse Reply to this message
It is simply amazing!

Some would still seek to have us believe that the worst is over and a real and meaningful recovery has already begun.

What a lot of rubbish!

The biggest danger faced by society these days is OVER CONFIDENCE.

OVER CONFIDENCE always has and always will blind people to the facts and strengthen their belief in what they want to believe without question.

Question yourself!

My dear shanegreenloans,

I say! Now that is an idea!!

Where do I apply ?

Although I might be a little old...

Nevertheless, tons of life experience may stand mme in good stead and it would certainly be thrilling learn how to stimulate a meaningful recovery of the world economy.

Got any tips?

shanegreenloans!

Do wind your neck in and try to communicate.

Who knows, though I have as yet seen nothing to support this ... You may actually have something of wroth to contribute.

It is obvious to anyone who is willing to simply open their eyes and ears to the truth that economic collapse is inevitable.

In reply tp all and everyone's 'garbage'!
Why don't you all become world leaders.
All such experts. With such expertise one wonders why you would even bother to have the time to embarrass yourselves with your rubbish.

My dear communistevil,

It could be that we are already faced with the very real prospect of HAVING to do business with the P. R. of China.

Given that we are now so economically dependent upon them .. (our biggest customer..). How could our economy grow and we prosper without them?

Is there another way?

Dear chinadoll_b,

"The Last Emperor" was a much more interesting and enjoyable movie IMHO.

Possibly you have seen it?

Re:Pending Economic Collapse Reply to this message
The ONLY "UTTER RUBBISH" I see posted here on this thread is the KRAP that you posted below using two of your favorite "INSULT ID's" you TROLL!

Go spill your NZ Pinot Noir mouth wash on someone elses BLOG!

Now is the time to acknowledge the dangers associated with our entertaining the idea of doing business witht he evil and corrupt government fo the P. R. of China.

Recent as yet unconfirmed reports indicate that the P. R of China has been investing heavily in the property market so as to help inflate the property bubble which we all se growing at an ever increasingly alarming rate.

With fists full of USD, this cash rich COMMUNIST giant is now manipulating the property market here with only one clear intention in mind.

To help create a bubble and then burst it so as to destroy our economy and way of life.

"Ridiculous! Makes no sense!! C'mon. Why would they even think of doing such a thing?" I hear some ask.

The reason is all too clear to those who will STOP & THINK!

The evil & corrupt government of that communist state will create an economic disaster here of such proportions so as to benefit from it!

Yes!Benefit!

For when the disaster which we all know will soon occur doesindeed come to pass, ONLY they shall be cash rich and ready to pick up the pieces at bargain basement prices. And ONLY they shall be in the WINNERS corner.

They will ahve control. And we shall be at their mercy!

SAY NO TO DOING BUSINESS with the P. R. of China. STOP them from investing in our industries and prevent them from buying more property than they already own.

Alarm! Alarm!!

Where are those sweet dreams... Why have they left us?

Dreams enjoyed during nights of carefree slumber.

My friends! Economic collapse is inevtable. The economy is simply unable to support the way of life and standard of living which we have all become so acustomed to.

Prepare yoruselves and..

Re:Pending Economic Collapse Reply to this message
Still have had the time nor patience to try again with a PENDALUM Qitulong. But I will get around to it one of these days.. I promise :)

Meanwhile, I am interested to see that your PENDALUM appears to be indicating exactly what I and an increasingly larger proportion of the population believe shall soon occur.

ECONOMIC COLLAPSE.

There is little to sustain the economy of yesterday.

Accordingly, with insufficient activity in existance to support it, it shall fall. Takign with it much that has been acquired during the "Golden Years" and doing much damage as it collapses.

We all need to prepare ourselves and ACT to secure our financial security.

Anyone else seeing same indications elswhere. I am hoping i am wrong. But truth is usually my PENDALUM correct and economy going to deflate big way in soon time.

Re:Pending Economic Collapse Reply to this message
There is little doubt that the market movements we have all witnessed of late can be nothing less than a clear indication of the crest of the economic wave having been reached.

Acordingly, the downward spiral into the trough of the economic wave shall soon begin.

Will the break be gentle or severe and how deep shall we be plunged into the depths of the trough.. And possibly more importantly, how long shall we remain there?

The disaster of which I and many others have forewarned shall occur.

Pending Economic Collapse

Re:Pending Economic Collapse Reply to this message
perceptions, I can't find any predictions anywhere that the population in Australia is likely to fall, all the predictions are for a rise in population around the world.
Where did you get this prediction?
==============
jay,
You could start with the following article, which talks about Global trends, Australia will likely follow?
http://scottgrannis.blogspot.com/2009/10/coming-po pulation-bust.html

You could also have a wander thru this following link, which also refers to some of the population issues.

Hi Ausguy :)

LOL I presume you deliberately set out to irritate the robinhood and you are referring to CITIGROUP with characteristic dry droll humour :)

Some folks just get hung out to dry on the details and never look to the intended message. IMO they take themselves far too seriously he he :)

BYE :)

I'm not here to take a moral stance on who or won't survive.
==========
lasty,
I'm not referring to stances or ideals!

But I am talking about the future hazards or risks, which may be created, as people see what can be got away with, where the consequences don't fit the actions.

If some are allowed to get away without an appropriate penalty, it opens pandora's box, for others to follow, as there is apparently NO hazrad/risk involved and there is the MORAL of the story.

Perceptions
I'm not here to take a moral stance on who or won't survive.
I back the likely outcome.
Most traders take a similar stance to me whether they are communist or capitalist.
We have already witnessed a professor who wishes to change the economic processes of the current system and makes his judgement on his ideals.
Until the rules change there is no point playing to them.

Re:Pending Economic Collapse Reply to this message
Citigroup is an American flagship/Icon.
Do you think that they will let it fall?
==========
lasty,
There are two separate questions -
Will they?
Should they?

If we take a line thru the too big to fail reasoning, then THEY WILL NOT?

However, if we look to the MORAL HAZARD & fixing the system in the long term, then the answer is YES THEY SHOULD!

It sort of follows the Amercian ethos, so the likely answer is THEY WILL ATTEMPT TO CONTINUE THE STATUS QUO.

Which means, "in the long run, we are all dead".
