Perhaps a brain inside your head that knows how to pull out all stops so you can understand an artistic freeflowing collection of criticisms that pretty much accurately describes your concrete mind patterns, would bring you up to date, old timer

Sorry Ross, say again, I don't understand you. Perhaps a dictionary at your side and familiarity with full stops may help.

LOL "whinger" Jay didn't seem to mind my input and I was conversing with him. Big nose and all he he :) You are sometimes amusing IMO :)

After taking another look around the forum I believe you may be another well known ID carrying on as usual with a new ID just to post insult!

It is my hope that one day you and others may come to realize the stuff you post says more about your nature and personality or lack thereof than it does about the person you are attacking! When this day comes what you post may even be worth the time needed to read it.

So I am sorry to have commented as I would have preferred we ignored each other!

But I was conversing with Jay and not you so if you don't mind - I will say what I like, when I like, to others that know my ID as I will not shirk responsibility for anything I post or invent an ID on the spot to hide behind while I post insults like some others I could mention!

SOoo SOoorry :)-

I only whinge to give you some entertainment aussiewhinger as you obviously have no life at all if you choose to waste your time on a forum you have no interest in.
You would be better on the Wiggles forum you may have valuable input on there, at least you will understand the conversation on it.

I've been in a job (in my younger years) where I had to help 100 year old ladies go to the toilet, assisting pulling their tights down etc (I won't go into graphic detail) including nightshift. Not a great job but it did pay the bills & I did actully enjoy the side of helping people live out their old age as best as possible but I didn't enjoy the minimum wage.
What I didn't do was whinge about how no one was helping me pay the bills over a smoke & beer down the local.

Hi peter.adish, I'm appreciating this friendly disagreement.
In reply I too am proud & happy to live in a country which offers a safety net for the unfortunate but that is all it should be a safety net not a lifestyle.
Your advice on not to mention my views down the club or pub is interesting, perhaps these peopple you talk of should but their ($5 a packet) cigs out put down their ($5 a bottle) drink & get a job at the local McDonalds or coles.
If I couldn't pay my bills or a mortgage I'd go get any job & if no work was in the area I'd move where there was work

Let it be known that i am proud to be a member of a society which provides a safety net to those who have no where else to turn in time of need.

Free education.

Free Medical.

Financial support.

Be proud and stand tall. This country is one of few that provides for the weak while also encouraging the strong!

Re:AUSTRALIA - ECONOMIC DISASTER LOOMS Reply to this message
My dear Qitulong,

Indeed it is our duty as members of this society to ensure that our government allocates sufficient funds so as to ensure the welfare of those less fortunate than ourselves.

It is equally our duty to ensure that those funds are used properly.

Sadly. No welfare system is free from abuse. And the fact that there are some who strive to abuse such a system is indeed disapointing.

However, the fact is that most people who seek out assistance from the government in the form of welfare payments of one form or another are not seekign to abuse the system but simply claim what is rightly theirs.

Ironically, it is the same people who are so quick to claim that our economy is strong and growing who are the first to also complain that the same economy cannoty support the needy.

Hello Mr. rossnhoj. I think you not understand me mate. I not asking more and more. I asking people who have much do not show disregarding attitude and lack of caring to other who have less than them. You maybe miss my pointing and think I am not say that many people is needy. It is truth that there are some who make advantage of no job is easy and make bad name for the real deserving peoples. But I think it is only few who do this. Most have not job because of bad situations happen them and not because they do not want. Anyway. I am serious to say I think it wrong to look badly on the less fortunate!

Fly away Mr qitulong, You have your numbers and quality of existance scewed up. Australians get paid well for your so called menial jobs nobody can complain about the genorosity of the populus of this nation. if anything the reason for the delivered genorosity is now being closley questioned---- the less fortunate in this benovelent social land are in utopia in comparison with other nations---- Australia has always done it tough mate so do not be so selfish in you demands for more and more benevolence.

Re:AUSTRALIA - ECONOMIC DISASTER LOOMS Reply to this message
It is truth Mr. Peter.Adish! That is why this country will have economic disaster for sure mate! People start to turn their backs on the man who work in the menial trades and everyone expect more for less. I think we all got to think more about less fortunate in the street we live and try to think about how we build better society that care for less fortunate ones. Everyone get selfish so much during years we just went through. Then when everythig get tough for everyone people like we see posting here start to say bad things about unfortunate ones who loose jobs because of economic turndown. Wow! I think you lucky Mr. Jaymarcel. Youy not suffering maybe. But many people are. How you like to wake up one of these mornings and find you have no more job. Company decide to just move out of country and employee other people make same thing for less .. AND then sell same product that other make for less back to your mates? I think you do not feel happy. No sir! You probably be first one to rush to cane field or fruit farm to ask to cut cane or pick fruit right? Please nos ay bad thing about less fortunate.

C`mon jaymarcel!

As an example -

Would you seriously have us believe that you would have each of those 600 or so persons who shall soon be unemployed as a result of the famous tyre manufacturers decision to close its plant in SA and move operations offshore head off to the fields to cut sugar cane rather than collect welfare and search for meaningful employment?

C`mon mate!

Re:AUSTRALIA - ECONOMIC DISASTER LOOMS Reply to this message
Hmmmmm!

Well! I certainly got no giggle out of your 10:56 post though..

Really jaymarcel!

Are you comparing apples with aples here or oranges with bananas? Communist Chinese peasants compared with the average unemployed bloke here at home. C`mon mate! There is no way you can complare the two.

Are you suggesting then that the government act in such a way as to limit welfare paments to such an extent as to give people without work here in Oz little option but to seek the same employment as those who are unemployed in third world countries do?

If so, I woudl not advise that you bring up such an opinion down at the club or pub.. infact, anywhere in earshot of an unemployed worker.. For you will surely suffer for it.

Frankly, the working man gets far too hard of adeal already IMHO.

Let us not add to his troubles by trying to restrict his rights to accessing welfare payments which at least keep his family off the streets in between jobs.

I for one am very happy & proud to live in a non-third world country. One which has a system, albeit not a perfect one set up to support those of us who often through no actual fault of our own fall on hard times, (financially)
