You're right...He was also chairman of G.D. Searle and Company, a worldwide pharmaceutical company that produced Nutrasweet, the sugar substitute which contains Aspartame which is proven to cause cancer. Of course it was covered up...these things always are.
Searle was sold to Monsanto, another sinister conglomerate that has patented Genetically Modified seeds in the hope of gaining control of global food production. Check out the documentary Seeds of Deception.
He was also Chairman of Gilead Sciences which owns the Intellectual Property rights to Tamiflu...swine flu is indeed profitable for some.
