Well mate, at least you are persistent. In the end, the police state will censor us all I guess. If it was up to the ADL, we'd all be running around saying 'vertically challenged' instead of 'short', or 'best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, gender neutral, winter solstice holiday practiced within the most joyous traditions or the religious persuasion of your choice', instead of Merry Christmas. Orwell would be gob-smacked by the accuracy of his writings.
The sad thing is, most people think this kind of politically correct jargon is the sign of a progressive society. God help us!

Re:Interesting facts. Reply to this message
johnbaptist29. In all sincerity, I was wondering what tools you use to further your understanding of the world in which we live. I have tried meditation, art, philosophy, poetry, working 9-5, sensory satisfaction, a university education etc. Where do I find the truth then? I mean, I've tried listening to mainstream media, but it seems that when I try and research the information that is presented, quite often the information is wrong. Take fluoride for example. Many governments around the world say it's good for your teeth, but research indicates that it's a by-product of the fertilizer industry and very harmful to the body. Who do I believe?
I am not interested in 'strengthening or augmneting my own opinion.' I would prefer if the leaders and educators in our society were working towards bettering our understanding of life, rather than engaging in disinformation and blatant propaganda. Alas, it seems they are incapable of doing that, and so I must search for the answers. I don't know if I have found the truth,l but I do know I have encountered numerous lies along the way. This leads me to believe that some of those people in positions of power and influence have a self-serving agenda.
You gave me a definition of what a fact is. But aren't facts constantly changing as we learn more about the world around us. The world was once flat, wasn't it? I mean, that seemed to be the concensus at that point in history. However someone in search of the truth found the world to be round.
If I can prove my opinion by citing government documents or peer reviewed university research papers, does that mean I am intellectual and qualified to comment? If so, what do you think about government funded research papers that use manipulated data to introduce policy favorable to their political agenda? (For example The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)

Another alternative power innovator has been found dead in his home in Iowa.

A note found near the body of the electric engine designer has caused ripples of anxiety in the US oil industry. Industry officials refused to comment about the death of Ralph T. Corby, a self taught engine designer, collector of automobile paraphernalia and vocal critic of the multinational oil business.

The contents of Mr. Corby's hand written note, found at the scene of the crime, have not yet been revealed but insiders claim it contains mathematical equations that would make the internal combustion engine obsolete.

Police would not reveal the exact cause of Mr. Corby's death but sources suggest it was accidental electrocution.

"All readers and posters, search for your own truth."

Interscreener has inadvertently put his finger on a major problem facing our society today. Everyone searches for their "own" truth. On the internet, I have found that people simply search out sites that strengthens or augments their own opinion. Rarely do they seek anything else.

Truth is, of course, another matter. The simplest definition of it is "a fact that is verifiable or has been verified". It appears more and more that people seek to verify their own opinion rather than seeking truth itself. We have, I'm afraid, entered into rather a dark anti-intellectual age.

Re:Interesting facts. Reply to this message
HHO apparently can run a lawnmower without petrol but is not intended to be the propulsion fuel for a motorcar. Too much electricity would be required. But fed into the air/fuel stream it has the ability to enhance and extend the available energy in diesel and petrol, to make the burn highly effecient. A documented case recently saw a car travel from Perth to Canberra on one full tank, plus HHO injection. Makes you think it would be worth doing something yourself. The "generator" uses aluminium light switch decorator covers to make the gas. Pretty simple and effective.

Re:Interesting facts. Reply to this message
Prana is life force energy that flows most when you breathe. Not quite "translating" as air. I experience it every time I breathe with intent to let this energy flow, and use it for healing using an amazinglyly powerful technique known as Quantum Touch. I may not be onboard about using it as "food" but it is very worth while, and is something meriting a lot more research. It is why we are alive, without it, (and every language on earth has a name for it), we are simply dead. Ki, (Rei-ki), Chi, Prana, Life force energy, all the same. Some also call it pure unconditional love!
