There may have been voluntary payments back then, not sure. If you can try contacting your then employer. Back then I would guess superannuation would have been held by insurance firms mostly? Good luck getting anything out of them.

Hunt for lost Superannuation Reply to this message
Does anyone know how I can follow up super payments from way back in the 60's - 70's?? I've tried ATO and other internet sites to no avail. I'm assuming there WERE super paments back then, but unsure. Thanks.
