"Some SMSF products do the preparations but their accountants insist that they check it, thats why getting it completed and lodged has the advantage"

What you save on self preparation can often cost you more in audit fees.

Not yet wandgporter.
My thoughts are that if they have an administrator and an accountant onboard as part of the package they would be fully compliant as opposed to others who rely on different services.
If I hear anything will let you know.

Re:Self Managed Super Funds Reply to this message
The tax return completed and the online platform.
You get daily valuations rather than annual.
BAS returns (if any)completed and lodged.
I have seen the esuperfund product which was a good concept in its day but people require alot more as the ATO are coming down heavily on non compliant funds and taxing them at the higher rate if they arent compliant.
Full administration with daily valuations is a must these days.

Re:Self Managed Super Funds Reply to this message
Yes this product does all this plus include deeds updates and online daily valuations which you can view as well as tax return lodged.
Some SMSF products do the preparations but their accountants insist that they check it, thats why getting it completed and lodged has the advantage.
cheers

Re:Self Managed Super Funds Reply to this message
Lasty,

I've been looking to set up a SMSF myself and came across ESUPERFUND which appears to have low fees ($599 compance) and if applied for before 31st Aug the setup and 2010 compliance is free.

Sound too good to be true? Check it out and and let me know what you think. Heaps of info at site.
