| Yup the cause of most recessions is because a boom has overran itself meaning most things are over priced due to greed in the good times. There is no avoiding the booms & busts but hopefully one day government can prevent what is happening/happened in US (I personally think it looks like OZ gov may have already done this), they have saved us from financial collapse & reduced it to just a recession |

G20 and beyond....The Combined, effective action by governments to protect us all. Will it actually work?
Hummm!? Is fear, political ego and/or cultural differences causing disagreement which shall in turn lead to an all out scramble by countries to save themselves from the worst which shall in turn result in the total collapse of the world economy as we know it today?
Just read a really interesting article which has just been posted on one of the most famous online NEWS web sites which I would like to share with you. The title is -
Big slide in global trade looms over G-20 meeting
From what I read, it seems that what most governemnt analysts described as being the biggest threat to the effectiveness of combined governmental action on a world wide scale is now actually starting to occur ... That is that many of the same governments of countries who promised not to resort to protectionist measures during the November 2008 conference in Washington have now actually implemented such measures..
Interesting reading. Go ahead and do a search using the above and read about it yourselves.

Today ....
The Oz Dollar falls in value..
The OZ share market falls...
and...
Layoffs/Redundacies continue (BANKWEST as an example)..
The storm approaches... Will you be ready?
And can you survive in the hard days which shall undoubtedly follow in its wake?
Heed not the words of those who would have you believe that our current financial outlook is anything less than disasterous.
As Dr. Xing-Li put it..
"A man cannot feed himself not fill the mouths of his loved ones on love alone" |

The sun always rises...
Storms always clear.. and blue skies follow in their path..
Natural disaster and economic collapse are just as inevitable.. And often just as unpredictable, (if not more so).
I take no oofense to the posts here on this BLOG which outline different oppinions than my own. Infact, such posts are welcomed. Yes! Welcomed. For as we all know, the reason we are here is to discuss, share and enlighten eachother through the free and open exchnage of views and oppinion.
Hide not away in fear in the face of insult not objection. Instead rise above the petty attempts of others to ridicule you. Lift up your head and pursue your dream.. seek out the truth and follow the light even when it seems that you alone are blessed with the opportunity to see it.
My posts on the BLOG, (and the BLOG itself which as others have so pointedly remarked was set up by me) are attempts to share reason and good sense at a time when so much we see about us and experience either at first hand, (i.e. our losing a job) or at second hand, (i.e. a friend losing his/her job) is emotionally disturbing and alarming.
Hopefully, despite the attacks upon me which you will see now only too clearly are attempts to disrupt and disturb the efforts I amd others have made and continue to make to discuss and share oppinion in the hope that financial self-security shall be assured for both ourselves and our fellow countrymen.
Take no heed of the confrontational posts which you find posted here on this BLOG. Instead, take note of its popularity. For that alone demonstrates the amount of interest so many have in the topic here addressed.
Lets all look positively upo our futures.. But also cautiously guard and preserve as much as possible that which we have been fortunate enough to acquire during the golden years lest we loose much in the economic disaster which looms on the horizon and threatens to engulf the world. |
