i agree with your say....not all aussie people at dole/centrelink bludgers....baby bonus money, yes it is a money, but...it doesnt stay there forever after having kids and all. Some people use it wisely, some are not.People are suffering now with the global inflation and economic downfall, so why the government is making it worst for the people that most of us are families? unemployment is increasing, and with the new fed budget, i'll bet australia will have a economic downfall later on and lots of people will suffer more. Whether your earning high or in low income, baby bonus should not be means tested, because once you stay home and have a baby, the baby bonus amount it only covers for the income parent will lose for the time being....$ 3,000, $4,000,$5000 etc baby bonus, like i said its only there in our bank account for the time being and it doesnt stay forever it does will cover for whatever you will lose in your income for a while.
And for the tax payer who complain that they should not pay for someone else's child in the day care or etc, etc... guys, please, do not say that, dont be mean....because you never know, one day you guys will be in these people's shoe and of course, other tax payer will support your needs too as well as your families. Im a tax payer too, but i dont mind if my tax goes to the families, because i always tell myself: " one day, ill be in their shoe and i will need their support too..."....guys, we never know what will happen to our lives one day, no offence but....we better dont argue on who's who should get our taxes and who's not.....let's just concentrate on how this FED BUDGET of rudd's government will affect our lives for now.....PS.....I, too i dont like kevin rudd's...im glad i didnt vote for him anyway....LOL!

god bless you all!

I think it's absoulutely unfair that people who have got the motivatation and common sense to strive their whole life to get a good paying job just so they can bring up a family in a decent environment have to suffer! THe people on low incomes are the one's who are wasting the money in the first place whereas I know I appreciated it and used the money towards better health care - my obstetrician alone cost $3,500!! I won't be voting for Rudd EVER AGAIN - why can't you appreciate that some people aren't dole bludgers and give the people who make Australia's economy boom the same respect as the people who drain it for what it's worth!?
