| Ninety Five Percent of the singers today? and I use the term loosely are Overpublicized,Overglorif ied nobodys. | You know people say nasty things like Lily Allen said when they are jealous... Susan Boyle has a brilliant voice, its a pity she could not take all the media attention...I suppose it would be hard on anyone. One thing that ticked me off with shows like "UK's got Talent" is that the acrobatics won. Now tell me, whilst they were good...how on earth can you compare them to someone with a great voice..just does not make sense to me. So glad Mark Vincent won the Australian version... |

| Lily Allen is too big for her boots, and sadly for her someone more experienced in the music profession will eventually bring her down to size. She is no position to judge Susan Boyle, who didn't get a real opportunity earlier on in life to become the success she obviously is now. No one can tell someone that they should not do what they love, be it sing, write, paint, etc. Each of us has a contribution to make to the world. If anything, Susan Boyle is under-rated as a performer. We've only seen the beginning from this great lady, and she's so down-to-earth despite her success, unlike Lily Allen who is young but trying to run the show with her opinions. Who hasn't this girl clashed with? She's having fights with everyone. |

| I like both as singers (tho I'm not fond of the music Susan is currently performing) but Lily does herself no favours by dissing another artist. It's a fairly stupid and petty thing to do and really just reflects something insecure and childish within Lily. I'm a bit surprised and disappointed in her. Oh and it's not Susan's fault that there's a lot of hype around her. Perhaps Lily is just looking to make a little hype of her own. Silly girl - she doesn't need to put others down to big note herself - but she's not the first to do it and wont be the last I'm afraid. |
