I guess a Mad Max TV series would be good featuring a new or little known actor in the lead role. However as far as the big screen goes, Mel Gibson will always be Mad Max and any attempt to revive the character for the big screen with another actor will meet with box office disaster. It will be like the terminator with out Arnold Schwartzeneger.

If the story and the filming are good enough then why would it need a big star at all.
How about having an unknown play the great man.

Eric Bana should without a doubt be the next MAD MAX!!!
He's a HUGE revhead, He is in-love with Ford coupe's especially the same model as the Mad Max Interceptor (XA-XB),plus He's NOT an egotistical jerk like Rusty Crowe & he's not an alcoholic womenising anti-semite like the 'original" Mad Max!!!!

I'm a big fan of Sam Worthington, and I reckon he's make a fantastic replacement for Mel's character. What do you guys think?
