| we got batman begins and all that stuff... what about one of the home and away guys....do you think they'd have the range? Open auditions for sure.... I like the new batman series...the only DC comic guy weho actually have More Marvel in him than the others...good polish batman is..... I'd like to see more aboriginal "mythology" in the next series though. | Well I honestly believe that all effort should be put into getting Mel to reprise his role in full or at least as mentioned earlier he should do a cameo where he passes the torch on the his son (Thereby allowing a passing of the torch in a fully accepted manner). Failing that the only two that should be considered are Hugh Jackman or Eric.B.(Aussie actors only). Although both of them are great in their own ways i personally believe that Eric would be a superior MAX. His overall adapability and how the rest of the world views him as a entity allows him to work in better with this role (EG Chopper etc). In the end it does matter who does it so they don't butcher one of the rare Aussie motion picture ledgends. | Mad Max. There's no doubt about it. It HAS to be an Australian actor. The movies are set in Australia so why should it be an American actor? I have no opinion on who should play the part but they have to be Australian. A lot of people are voting for Hugh Jackman. I reckon he could pull it off. Too bad Mel Gibson doesn't want back in. | Well it's a tough one , all good actors but I really think no Mel may as well go fresh new talent and Australian . I did see someone recently that reminded me of Mr Gibson . But buggered if I can remember the name . I saw a clip on youtube with Jackman as Max and I thought he did it quite well . I think that the movie was great in it's time but to redo it now I dunno , better of with a new Title and Character . Which reminds me why can't we download some of the great Aussie movies on iTunes ?
