| I've been a star trek fan for thousands of years , I have seen all the 60's and seventies series dozens of times and all of the startrek movies , this new one was about 5/10 ........ but at least they are continuing to make them , leanord nimoy looks a bit shook , but it was great to see him, these new actors dont really fill the boots of their predecessors | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| It was a terrible Star Trek film. It was entertaining, funny, had the right explosions-to-talking ratio, and was generally pretty watchable. It's a disgrace to the rest of the series; Star Trek films have a reputation of being stilted and waffly to uphold! (Could do with a little less lensflare, mind.) |

| I haven't seen the Star Trek movies over the last several years but was told to see this one. Went with friends on Saturday and as a person who remembers the old Star Trek from the 70's it was great - action packed and interesting (where the characters came from) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Has anyone seen the new Star Trek movie? Had a look today as a watcher of the series many years ago and wasn't disappointed. Great to have the beginning explained and to see the characters brought to life again - a young and very arrogant Captain Kirk and a bit of an explanation about Spock, with a cameo from Leonard Nimoy. Great stuff and worth a look. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
