Just for interest to the little girl who played Carol-ann,her name is Heather (cant remember her last name),but she died making the second part of the series, you will see it is dedicated to her and they had to find another girl for back shots.Cause of death???,no conclusion by the state examiner.Weird huh?

The directors cut of The Exorcist was pretty creepy. Signs also had some creepy moments. The Shining was an excellent example of how to get under the skin and unnerve someone.

The Shining by Stanley Kubrick

Creepy music, suspenseful, well cast and acted, with potential victims you care about (unlike teenage slasher films.) I had problems getting to sleep after watching some of the scenes.

Evil Dead (the original, not that silly sequel) always used to freak me out when I was younger.

One movie I wouldnt quite call scary, but was full of suspense filled frights was "What lies beneath". Every few minutes someone would slowly pull a shower curtain back, or wipe a steamed up mirror and show some freaky face, or the classic "Open a door and the cat jumps down".

What is the Scariest movie? Reply to this message
Since Halloween is just around the corner, it would be interesting to find out everyone`s opinions about what they think is the scariest movie(s) they have seen and why? What scene made it so scary to you?

The scariest movie I have ever seen would be, "Poltigeist". "Carol Ann come stay away from the light!"
