| Elephant Man was brilliant, but so was Dead Poet's Society, and Patch Adams. I succumbed to sobbing in the theatre. I enjoy movies that can move me. |

UMM,
The Viking's also got stoned out of their skull's on migic mushroom's, Pot and fremented fruit's.
Once ashore in old blighty they would strip naked, covered there bodie's in mud and draw "earth sign rune's" all over them selve's before every battle.
The "filthy few", (pommie's) would not resist a psychogenically powered naked mudman, would you ?
Hee hee hee, i really like those "old world" fun loving culture's. |

Now that is sad,
You actually watched Moulin Rouge all the way through.
She die's in every movie i've ever seen her pollute.
Nothing new there, including any wrinkle's. |

Titanic ?
Sad, ?????
What is sad is the fact that most of you peep's prolly have'nt seen the best film version of that story.
This version was made only ten year's after the event and it does not have a bunch of "beautiful youth's" having saucy 'lil romp's around the painter's brushes.
Steerage is what Leo was and as such he would never have been allowed above the third class level on the ship, let alone on to the open deck's, it just did not happen.
There are many more "hollywood embelishment's" in the latter re-make's that add their weight to the arguement for banning re-make's, like the pond that froze in winter so he could ice skate right near his home, yeh right,
The Titanic sunk in 1912, the lake/pond in question was man made in 1938, some 26 year's after the ship sank (and he died), go figure ?
They paid some schmendric $100,000 to have conscistentcy in the story line, i think they got robbed,
just like all of those fool's who actually paid good money to see it.
Yes i know it won an oscar,
the best award money can buy.
The original black and white flicker is called,
"And the band played on",
do yourselve's a favor and watch it.
But be warned, there is no sexually rapacious adonis with his hairless chest showing, lurking with stiffened bristle intent, no personal account's about ice skating on futurama pond's,
no nubile female squeeze toy with lapse moral's, clear skin and realy nice breath,
just the fact's and the human drama that surrounded the event. |
