| Trivia Former model. Sister married the Marquis of Worcester in 1987 As a young starlet shared a house with fellow model-actress Daryl Hannah. Uncle is Great Britain's Earl of Dudley. | Bryan Brown's name springs to mind. Russell Crowe is Kiwi by birth I think and so should not really be claimed by Oz. Likewise Mel Gibson is Aussie but has barely spent any time here in years although I believe he still has family in Perth. A brother of his is a car salesman (of all things...) there. I'm not overly fond of Heath Ledger nor will I even bother with the sorry sight that is Paul Hogan. On the female side, I'd suggest the Non-Aboriginal female lead from "Secret Life of Us" (can't remember her name at the mo) would be a good candidate as is Kate Blanchett. Likewise the perennial fave Ms Nicole Kidman is also an accomplished actress worthy of mention. What about Ms Bryan Brown...was Rachel Ward an Aussie or a Kiwi??? Not sure but she was a pretty good actress in her time as well. Just my opinion... |
