| Thanks heaps Channel 7 for stuffing up a great movie - yet again. Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade was really great, until you just had to put an 'ad' over the top of the ending of the movie where they ride off into the sunset with the classic Indy theme song going in the background. You used a split-screeen, blocked out the great ending music, and played the credits at double speed, all to make sure your got your precious 'ad' for 'Ugly Betty' in. Tell us, is the power of the 'mighty dollar' so great these days that you can't even let the last 60 seconds of what was up until that stage a terrific movie play out until it's completion? You have done the same thing with the V8 Supercars - even to the point of shortening the race so that the football can be shown 'on time'. And while watching the football, you chop out the dressing-room Team Song and interviews to cut to the news. Who the hell is in charge of your programming? And don't give me any of that 'we have a schedule' to keep rubbish, because that changes according to what's on next. It's disgraceful, and I'll be steering clear of Channel 7 until you rectify it. Your viewers have every right to watch a programme in full - not be bombarded with ad's that get their 'rightful' time, and then have the programme cut short as a result of it. It's not rocket-science yanno - a fair go for everyone, not just the Corporate Dollar. Very, very disappointed ex-Channel 7 viewer. |

COMIC BOOK GUY
Last night's Itchy & Scratchy was, without a doubt, the worst episode ever! Rest assured that I was on the Internet within minutes, registering my disgust throughout the world.
BART
Hey, I know it wasn't great, but what right do you have to complain?
COMIC BOOK GUY
As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me.
BART
What? They're giving you thousands of hours of entertainment for free. What could they possibly owe you? I mean, If anything, you owe them.
COMIC BOOK GUY
(pause) Worst episode ever. |
